After a wonderful night with Aggie, Breegan decided he was refreshed enough to go back to see Leighton.
And just in time too as things were getting tougher for Leighton and his girlfriend. She told Leighton that she as getting music lessons from a talented musician.
Leighton was sure this mysterious musician may be the man she was seeing behind his back. Leighton was desperate to keep her. He even thought that by moving up in his career that things would be better. Nothing was helping and he didn’t know what else to do. He was getting so depressed. Breegan couldn’t watch the guy suffer anymore.
He knew what he had to do.
He went to Jamie’s house.
He told her she now had an opportunity to improve upon her Charity. The emotional health of a very delicate person was at stake. The time had come for her to make an important decision.
Leighton was losing it big time and it was time she let him go.
Jamie stared at him a moment, then ran off to the bathroom.
Breegan could hear her tossing her cookies. He knew his ultimatum would be shocking to her. After all, she seemed to really feel something for Leighton. Especially since she had a habit of screaming his name out at the most inconvenient moments.
He followed her into the bathroom when she was finished unloading her guilt. She told him that she would dump Leighton for him. He was getting on her nerves anyway with his constant whinging and sub-standard love-making. Plus he was really emotional which Breegan already knew. Breegan figured he’d better take another break from Leighton once Jamie broke the news to him.
Breegan was pleased...
...But Jamie wouldn’t sleep with him.
She slept in the guest room with Drew…on the floor.
The following morning, Jamie told him he would have to make this break up worthwhile. After all Leighton had a job and she was pregnant again. (So it wasn’t guilt.) Breegan pleaded with her to stop bitching at him.
She reminded him again of her reasons for being less than warm and cuddly. Breegan thought again about his idea from long ago and decided that it was time to bring it to fruition.
He invited her over to his house again and asked her to move in with him. Her, Drew, and their new baby.
